Brooke’s deep knowledge around software development from the perspective of all stakeholders involved makes her a critical knowledge resource for Oink Analytics, LLC as we consider our future product road map and target markets. Her experience brings a rich understanding of critical persona and market segments for software products as well as voice-of-customer and implementation planning. 

Rodger Jackson - CEO at Taovation, LLC


Rodger is an IP management executive with experience improving organizations’ financial performance through proactive utilization of its Intellectual Property assets. He is an industry recognized IP management and licensing thought leader who has worked with innovative Fortune 100 and multi-national professional services firms.  Rodger has significant international experience in consulting with Asian firms monetizing their patent portfolios.   

Prior to his work in IP, he was involved in the early days of AI (cognitive computing, neural networks, expert systems, natural language, etc.) as a systems manager at Symbolics, a spin out from the AI Lab at MIT. Symbolics is recognized as the first successful AI company.  

Neal Mody - Managing Director at Zoic Capital


In 2014, Neal founded Zoic to address the systematic underfunding of early-stage medical technology startups. Neal has over a decade of successful experience in the tech startup space.  In 2007, Neal co-founded Ambature, a company which has made meaningful scientific strides towards marketable, large-scale production of room-temperature superconductor material. Neal served as Ambature’s initial CEO and maintained an active managerial role until 2013. To date, Ambature has raised over $20 million and holds over half of the room-temperature superconductor patents in the world. Neal’s accomplishments at Ambature have made him a valuable and trusted source of advice for other CEOs. He has served on the Board of Directors of seven other startups and has offered guidance to over a dozen more through his mentoring role at Creative Destruction Labs. Marcel Madaras - Sr. Scientist at Xylem Inc.


 Marcel has extensive experience in Biosensors, Electroanaytical Chemistry, Molecular Biology Assays, Soil and Water Quality Analysis, knowledgeable in Intellectual Property matters, Technology evaluation and New Product Development.  Marcel is a native of Romania, where he completed his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from “Babes-Bolyai” University in Cluj-Napoca. He then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry in 1996. Graduated with honors from the Executive MBA program at Rochester Institute of Technology in 2008.  

Jim Shea


Jim specializes in interdisciplinary university-industry partnerships built around innovative science and engineering, from collaborations with multiple Fortune 100 partners to support for start-up companies emerging from groundbreaking science developed by campus faculty and students. Prior to his current position at the University of Texas as Arlington, Jim worked at the University of California, San Diego, where he secured multiple IP donations that formed the basis for new research initiatives, and Dartmouth College, where he promoted campus start‑up ventures to alumni positioned to speed their time to market. The ongoing emergence of a Dallas-Fort Worth start-up and innovation lab culture, combined with UTA’s quick growth as a research powerhouse, is providing similar collaborative opportunities in fields as diverse as AI and machine learning, robotics, autonomous air and ground ecosystems, and materials science.

Michael Sullivan - CEO at Actavo North America.



Mike has joined the technology advisory board of Oink Analytics, LLC to provide advice and guidance in the area of wireless telecommunications technology and standards such as 3G, 4G, and 5G. In addition, he will offer his expertise in optical fiber and multiplexing technologies. Mike has a solid history in the telecommunications industry from both a managerial and practical engineering perspective. Prior to his leadership role at Actavo, he held a VP role with the Zayo Group, a global provider of bandwidth infrastructure services, and prior to that served as a Senior Network Architect at Frontier Communications.
